An Antique Victorian Welsh dresser, circa 1900, the top with a pair of glazed cabinets with adjustable shelves flanking three open shelves with plate rack backs, the base fitted with three frieze drawers over a central 'dog kennel' flanked by a pair of cupboard doors. The pine carcass painted in a very pale blue.
This style of dresser with a 'dog kennel' base is typical of those from South and West Wales, particularly the areas of Glamorgan and Camarthen.
