A Continental porcelain novelty dish, late 19th /early 20th century, of a frog in naval costume with a telescope and a sword at this side, upon shell shaped dish base.
From a rare series of novelty frog dishes which were possibly originially fairings, although they are very nicely modelled.
In excellent condition.
