A Continental novelty porcelain dish, late 19th /early 20th century, the shell shaped dish with a pair of laughing toads, one holding a beaker it its hand.
From a rare series of novelty frog dishes which were possibly originially fairings, although they are very nicely modelled.
The right hand toad with chipped toes.
