A very nicely modelled large pair of Victorian Staffordshire pottery spaniels, circa 1870, their curly coats painted with tan patches, painted features and gilt collars and chains.
In excellent condition with no damage or repairs, some losses to the paintwork as it usual on these dogs, the left hand dog has a firing imperfection (surface crack) at the back.
