John Yates Hand Painted Porcelain Dessert Service circa 1830

A fine quality John Yates porcelain dessert service, circa 1830, comprising a twin handled oval comport, a pair of oval shaped dishes, a pair of asymmetric shaped dishes and eight plates, hand painted with cornucopia of pink roses and enriched in gilt within leaf moulded and beaded borders. 

Both pairs of dishes in excellent condition, the eight plates with no damage but some wear to the central gilding on some of the plates, the comport has a hairline crack.
