Vienna Hand Painted Porcelain Plate titled 'Gute Nacht'

A Vienna type porcelain cabinet plate, circa 1870, hand painted with a scene of a girl carrying a lighted candle, within a foliate gilt turquoise and pink banded border with oval reserves of cherubs and gilt 'jeweling', signed 'Ricmer'. The reverse with blue beehive mark, old paper labels and titled 'Gute Nacht' (good night). Within a red velvet and gilt gesso frame.

The plate in excellent condition with no repairs, damage or wear and could easily be removed from the distressed frame if required.

The plate measures 24cm diam. (39cm including the frame).
