An 18th century country oak boarded or bible box, the front panel carved with the initials T.B. and dated 1791, with chip carved decoration to the end corners and moulded edges. The interior with candle compartment and with original iron lock plate and strap hinges.
In very original condition, small area of old worm to back corner but otherwise very good, honest piece.
