A Victorian button back nursing chair, circa 1880, upholstered in a machine made tapestry floral fabric, the shaped back with corded detailing over an hour-glass shaped seat with corded and fringed borders, raised on ring turned mahogany front supports and original castors.
A good quality and comfortable chair which has been very nicely upholstered with deep buttoning to the back. In good overall condition, the springs are good with no lumps or bumps to the seat. The upholstered is pretty clean but being over critical there is some slight snagging to the top of the back.
74cm high, the seat measures 45cm wide at the front, 43cm deep and 33cm high.
