The prettiest Antique French two seat sofa in Louis XVI taste dating from the late 19th Century, of tub form with carved frame and swag carved gallery to the underside of the seat, in original pale grey paint and with feather-filled loose seat cushion. The inside back and seat cushion upholstered in a turquoise coloured damask fabric, the back, sides and underneath the seat in a contrasting turquoise and cream stripe.
In very good order, the fabric is clean with only a few very minor marks and one small mark to one side of the cushion. I can however arrange re-covering and supply fabric if required - please get in touch for further details.
95cm high, 158cm wide max, the seat 62cm deep and 56cm high.
