A very decorative black and gilt painted console table, of rectangular form with three frieze drawers, brass ring handles, shaped apron and raised on slender cabriole legs in Queen Anne style, with extensive scroll and shell carved moulding to the front, sides and back, the top with an ornate decoupage design of reserves of ladies within rococo shell and urn swagged borders centred with a flower filled urn.
The console probablay dates from tue 1960's with later decoraton. It is extremely well done and is in good order. Can also be used 'in the round' as the back is also decorated and has the same fielded panels as the front.
