An oak backstool chair, circa 1710, purpotedly of Welsh origin, the high back with foliate carved and pierced toprail over a vase shaped splat, the solid seat wth side rails and tapering towads to back, upon a bobbin turned base.
A very nicely detailed chair, the reverse of the backsplat has beautifully chamferred edges. Of good colour and condtion.
