A good quality and nicely proportioned Edwardian wingback armchair, circa 1910, the square back over a seat with feather filled loose cushion and raised on mahogany tapering supports terminating in brass and porcelain castors. Upholstered in an aubergine/bronze coloured herringbone weave fabric with piped edges, the arms with loose arm covers.
In excellent condition overall. The fabric is clean with no stains, however when one arm cap is removed it shows fading to the one side of the chair - this is not at all noticeable until the arm cover is removed.
The chair is perfectly useable as it is, however I can arrange re-covering with my upholsterer and supply fabric if preferred - please contact me for further details.
The back 100cm high, 69cm wide outside arm to outside arm, the seat 52cm deep and 46cm high including the loose cushion.
