A French oak side cupboard, early 20th century, the white Carrara marble top with a moulded edge and carved front channel, over a pair of frieze drawers and pair of cupboard doors, with moulded panel decoration throughout, acanthus carved corners and raised on leaf capped scroll feet, the drawers with an unusual locking mechanism operated from a central escutcheon (lacking key).
In good clean condition, the top very likely originally had a 3/4 marble gallery back.
