A very nice quality Regency chaise longue / daybed, circa 1810, with twin scroll ends and shaped back panel, raised on outwept supports with applied ebonies mouldings, terminating in brass lion paw caps and castors, upholstered in blue 18th century French style upholstery with loose feather filled & buttoned seat cushion and end bolsters.
This is a most unusual chaise which can be converted for use without the back panel by unscrewing two brass bolts on the reverse.
In excellent condition, the upholstery is undamaged if a little faded in places, the brass castors are original. One small section of repair to the right front support.
