A Regency flame veneered cuban mahogany linen press of architectural form, circa 1820, the top with a moulded cornice over a pair of arch panel doors flanked by Corinthian column topped pilasters and the interior fitted with 5 dressing slides, the base with three small frieze drawers over two long drawers with edge mouldings and wooden knob handles, raised on splay bracket feet.
Of good, colour and in original 'country house' conditiion. One section of veneer above the right hand frieze drawer has been replaced, although not recently and there are some other losses/chips to the veneer but overall a nice looking piece.
