An extremely comfortable antique Victorian iron framed button back armchair for recovering, with tub shaped back and sprung seat, raised on turned mahogany front supports with original porcelain castors, circa 1880.
Despite appearances the chair is in good structural condition, of nice proportions and extremely comfortable. The sprung seat is good with no lumps or bumps and the iron frame gives the back a certain amount of give which aids comfort.
87cm high, the seat measures 67cm wide at the front, 58cm deep and 34cm high.
Available either in it's current state or I can arrange re-covering by my upholsterer in a fabric of choice. Please contact me for further details.
