A Victorian iron framed button back armchair, circa 1880, the sprung seat raised on lappet carved and chanel moulded supports terminating in brass and porcelain castors. Upholstered in green velvet.
A very comfortable chair of good proportions for use as a drawing room or bedroom chair. The iron framing gives the back a certain amount of movement which makes them extremely comfortable.
In good order overall. The velvet fabric is unstained and serviceable but would benefit from a steam clean. I can arrange re-covering by my upholsterer and supply fabric if required - please contact me for further details.
86cm high, the seat 62cm wide at the front, 53cm deep and 387m high, total depth of chair 90cm.
