Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

A Victorian mahogany chest of drawers, circa 1880, the moulded top over two banks of four drawers with knob handles and raised on plinth base.

A compact but very solid chest of drawers of unusual proportions. It has been well used and has wear commensurate with its age but the colour overall is quite even. Some of the knobs are replacements and there is a section of timber missing across the back edge of the left hand side.
