A Victorian mahogany wind-out extending dining table, circa 1860, to seat 8 - 10 people, the rectangular top with moulded edge and rounded corners, raised on four knopped and fluted tapering supports terminating in brass castors. With two additional leaves and original brass winder.
The table is in good condition, the wind-out action works smoothly, there is no damage or restoration and the top does not have any marks or stains, however the colour is uneven where it's faded, one leaf being significantly darker as it's obviously had little use. This could be rectified by a restorer and the table is priced accordingly.
232cm when fully extended, the leaves measure 48cm and 41cm. The table can be used with no leaves, one leaf or both.
The table lengths are as follows:
232cm long using both leaves
143cm long with no leaves
and 184cm long or 191cm long depending on which single additional leaf is used.
