A pair of Jones, Staffordshire, 'Picturesque Asiatic Beauties' blue and white plates, circa 1835, transfer printed with a scene of a figure on the back of a camel in a landscape with Indian buildings, within a relief moulded foliate border and indented rim.
The backstamp printed with a blue cartouche with 'Picturesque Asiatic Beauties' with 'Jones' below. Attributed to Elijah Jones, Villa Pottery, Cobridge, Staffordshire
The plates in good overall conditioon, no damage, cracks or repairs other than some chipping to the footrims.
