A rare, hand coloured, historical race game with 133 playing spaces numbered in a clockwise direction from the Battle of Hastings [1066] to the death of Queen Caroline [1821]. Centred with a portrait of William IV. Hand coloured sheet split into 12 sections mounted on linen, published by E. Wallis, 42, Skinner Street, Snow Hill, circa 1831.

A game devised to educate young children in some of the basic facts of English history. First published I 803 it was revised with each subsequent monarch until Queen Victoria.
