A rare, circular board game with 150 numbered, hand-coloured, pictorial compartments, each representing a historical event, commencing with the proclamation of George III and ending with his golden jubilee. 

The hand-coloured engraved sheet split into 12 and mounted on linen.

The game was designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the reign of King George III, highlighting his marriage and the birth of his children, along with important historical events that occurred during his long reign, including Capt. Cook's voyages, the American Revolution and the Declaration of Independence, the abolition of slavery, the Irish Rebellion, wars with Spain & France, Haley's comet, the invention of the hot air ballon, the smallpox vaccine etc.
