A highly decorative and nicely painted 19th Century oil portrait of a bishop.
The canvas appears to have been previously stuck down on board (hence glue marks to the reverse) and is no longer on it`s original stretcher, consequently the canvas is not as taught as it should be and there are some small areas of paint loss but no holes. Mounted in a later gold painted frame.
