English School circa 1915, A charming and nicely observed study of a group of chestnut coloured thoroughbred Horses, Oil on canvas mounted on artist`s fibreboard, unsigned, indistinct pencil marks visible through the background glaze at the foot of each horse, probably naming each individual. Within it`s original gesso frame and bearing a label verso for the prestigious Graves Gallery, 44 Cherry Street, Birmingham.
