A Georgian glass tazza, circa 1780, the circular top with a folded edge and upon a knopped and baluster wrythen silesian stem terminating in a high domed foot with folder edge.
In excellent condition with no damage. Interestingly this tazza does not have a raised edge as you would normally expect. It is possible it could have been ground down sometime in the past, however there is no evidence of this being the case as the edge is very smooth.
These were designed as a stand for jellies, sweetmeats and syllabubs and often used as a table centrepiece, this size is the medium size tazza from a stack of three.
