A Japanese Meiji Period Satsuma vase, late 19th/early 20th Century, of square tapering form with an everted neck, painted and gilt highlighted with a continuous river scene with buildings, flowering chrysanthemum bushes and cherry trees, painted square seal mark to base.
In excellent condition, no damage or restoration, some wear to gilt at the shoulder.
