A really lovely pair of bespoke Vintage Army officer's leather field boots, dating from the 1930's.
Known as 'Veldtschoen' (meaning waterproof shoe), this style of army officer's boot originated from the Boer War and being waterproof became increasingly popular during WWI. There is no makers mark however this type of boot is typically associated with makers such as Crockett & Jones, Joseph Cheane and Lotus.
In excellent condition, steel toed and heeled and with wooden shoe trees. Approx size 8 1/2 - 9.
