A pair of Wedgwood cobalt blue jasper dip butter tubs and covers, circa 1905, decorated with a continuous scene of figures from Greek mythology making offerings before a sacrificial altar with trees and vases of flowers, the domed covers with classical figures and cherubs within raised lined borders and loop handles.
Impressed WEDGWOOD to each base.
Condition: one tub with a tiny surface chip to the jasper dip at top edge otherwise in excellent condition.
Tubs: 5.5cm high and 10.7cm wide, with covers 9cm high x 11cm wide.
