A pair of good quality, heavy gauge, Antique silver plated oval tureens, circa 1880, the covers with beaded decoration and engraved to one side with a reserve containing an armorial depicting a bird of prey flanked with scrolling foliage, opposed on the other side with a vacant reserve and foliage, the removable scroll and beaded handles cast with acanthus leaves, the bases also with beaded borders.
In good condition, throughout with no wear to the plate. The inside of one of the bases has some scratching.
