A very pretty Regency mahogany and burr elm bowfront chest of drawers of unusual construction, circa 1825, the cross-banded top with gadroon moulded edge over four graduated long drawers, the deep top drawer giving the appearance of two drawers, with the top third being veneered in burr elm and the bottom two-thirds in mahogany divided by a moulded edge, with gilded foliate pressed ring pull handles and with original working key, upon turned feet with gadroon moulded top edge.
In very good condition with original finish, some slight marks commensurate with age.
