An unusual antique spelter Rhinoceros pen wipe, late 19th Century, modelled in standing position in the style of Durer's Rhinoceros with scaly plates on it's body, With bronze patination and an aperture on it's back containing the pen wipe brushes.
The patination remains in good order and unworn, there is a chip to the front left foot and both ears are chipped.
