A Victorian Gothic Stained Mahogany Hall Chair in 'Strawberry Hill' style, circa 1860, the gothic tracery back flanked by double helix columns over a solid seat (now hinged concealing a shallow box compartment - this may well be a later adaptation).
Height of back 121.5 cm high, the seat 40cm high.
In un-restored condition with some patches of wear to the staining on the seat. The gothic tracery is complete, small chip to the top right finial.
