A Regimental Woolwork Picture made by a soldier from the XIII Hussars, circa 1902. The central insigina with the motto `Viret in aeternum` within a foliate scroll worked with the battle honours of the Regiment including Waterloo, The Peninsula War, The Crimea and South Africa. In it`s original glazed oak frame withe a silver slip. There is a little fading to the woolwork but the colours remain very bright.
