An antique Victorian button back bedroom or nursing chair, circa 1880, the violin shaped back being deep buttoned and with corded borders, the shaped seat similarly corded and braided at the edges and upon ring turned mahogany front supports with original castors.
The chair is in good overall condition and is nicely upholstered. The springs are good and the seat does not have any lumps or bumps. There is some picking to the fabric at the top of the back.

73cm high, the seat measures 47cm wide at the front, 39cm deep and is 32cm high.
