French Gilt Metal Bed Ciel de Lit in Louis XVI Style

A French gilt brass bed corona in Louis XVI style, the reeded brass top rail applied with floral swags and a central bow tied wreath, with a later wooden infill and brackets in order to attach the corona to a wall. There is a small gap between the gilt metal and the wood enabling fabric to be attached.
47cm wide max, 40cm deep and 18cm high.
