A collection of Antique and Vintage shellwork items, comprising:
A rectangular shell encrusted wooden jewellery box, one of the shells on the cover with the inscription 'A Souvenir from Hornsea', the interior lined in green velvet and inner mirror, probably dating from the early - mid 20th century. 17cm long x 11cm wide.
A 19th century pin cushion of book form, the shell encrusted front cover opens with a paper lined interior and with a central reserve of a couple in a wooded landscape, the reverse similarly decorated with a floral reserve, with a paper covered spine and the other three sides covered in velvet for use as a pin cushion.
A shell encrusted octagonal pin cushion / box with a red velvet domed lid, the sides inset with mirrored panels, late 19th / early 20th century.
A smal circulair floral encrusted shell box raised on three shell feet, probably mid 20th century.
