A set of six Antique French carved walnut dining chairs in Louis XV style, late 19th century, the frames profusely carved in relief with foliate scrolls, with inset upholstered buttoned back panels and seats and with X framed stretchers similarly carved.
These are extremely heavy, nicely carved chairs. The back and seats were originally caned and the upholstered panels have been placed over the original caning. They are extremely comfortable and of good size.
