Cased Silver Condiment Set, Chester 1912

A cased silver condiment set in Queen Anne style, Chester 1912, makers mark for James Deakin & Sons (JD over WD), comprising four salt cellars with gilt interiors, a pair of peppers and a pair of mustard pots with blue glass liners and six spoons (matched), each piece of baluster form and raises on crouched feet, the mustards with scroll handles.  Within it's original velvet lined dark blue fitted leather case.

Each piece assayed with date letter, makers marks and RD number to the base.

The cruet is assayed for Chester 1912, the salt spoons Sheffield 1905 and the mustard spoons Sheffield 1911 & 1912

Condition: A nice quality set and of decent weight. Rim of one salt slightly bent in at one corner, one very small dint to both of the peppers.  The case in excellent condition.

The pepper measure 8.5cm high.
