A Victorian, charmingly naive, shadow box diorama of a house front, constructed from various materials including glass chips, powdered glass, foil, cardboard and lithographic scraps, with figures at the windows and a bird perched on a windowsill. The exterior of the case is covered in mid 19th Century cotton fabric.
Condition: The glass is a replacement; lacking some original elements and there is a tear to the fabric on the reverse of the case.
