A carved oak late 17th / early 18th Century highback chair of Scottish interest, with cane seat and back panel, the frame carved with thistles and scrolls.
This is a sturdy chair of it's type which has been fully restored at some point in it's history, with repairs and subsequent replacement parts. One small hole to the caning on the back panel otherwise caning is good and sturdy.
