17th Century Cane Highback Chair

A carved oak high backed chair, late 17th / early 18th Century, with cane back and seat panels and scroll carved frame.  

This is a sturdy chair of it's type which has been fully restored at some point in it's history, with repairs and subsequent replacement parts. One small hole to the caning on the back panel otherwise caning is good and sturdy.
