MARK & MOODY 1930's SHOP SIGN

MARK & MOODY - A 1930's gilt painted steel plate shop sign.

Mark & Moody were a firm of stationers / printers / publishers in Stourbridge.  In existence since the 19th Century the retail premises were modernised and re-fitted in 1936 which dates this sign rather accurately to that date.

In good, original, condition, some scratching and small amount of rust on the edge of the letter Y.  Mounted on a wooden baton at the bottom to aid stability.
