A wooden model of a Viking aircraft with the livery of BWIA (British West Indian Airways), circa 1955. The airline existed from 1939 until 2006 and was part of the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) from 1949 onwards. Mounted on a modern steel stand.
This model was very likely used as advertising purposes placed in travel agents windows.
32cm high (including stand), 41cm long with a 56cm wingspan.
