Milne 'Winne the Pooh', 1st Edition, 1st Printing, Published by Methuen & Co., London 1926, 'First published in 1926' on the verso of the titled page, with no other dates mentioned, therefore this is a 1st edition, 1st printing. The book has green cloth covered hardback boards with gilt vignette on the front and titles on the spine, the tops of the closed page edges are also gilt.
7.5" x 5.25" (190mm x 132mm), 158 pages.
Condition: The gilt is nice and bright on both the front and the spine, binding/spine remains good and firm with no loose pages, There is creasing to the top and bottom edges of the spine, bumped top corners and wear to bottom corners, marks to the front and marks and some bubbling to the back cover. Pages are clean overall but show signs of handling, previous owners name is written in pencil on the inside.
