A large pair of French gilt pressed metal curtain tiebacks dating from the mid 19th Century, each in the form of a large flowerhead. These tiebacks are designed to be screwed into the wall, either to hold back the curtain itself of used in conjunction with a rope & tassel tieback.
The flowerheads measure 14cm in diameter and the posts are 16cm long.
