A lovely William IV miniature silver vinaigrette by Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1836, the engine turned lid with a vacant reserve and applied foliate border, all four sides are reeded and the reverse with engine turned decoration, the gilded interior with pierced inner cover and original sponge.
Nathaniel Mills is widely regarded as the pre-eminent silversmith of the 19th Century specialising in vinaigrette, card cases and boxes. This vinaigrette is a very nice quality miniature example in superb condition.
