An early 19th Century Naive School portrait of Mary Queen of Scots, oil on canvas, in its original black and gilt gesso frame.
Loosely based on the Nicholas Hilliard portrait now in The National Portrait Gallery.
In very original, unrestored, condition, with some paint loss, one hole top right, dents and scratching and a patch to the rear bottom left.
