A 1940s Cased Display of National Health Spectacles

A superb, rare display case of National Health Service Spectacles bearing label stamped `A Wiseman Production, British Made`.
This case would have been used in opticians and dates from 1949. It contains 18 pairs of faux tortoiseshell and wire spectacles each with a reference tag stating whether they were free or not. Mounted in a glazed and wooden case with easel back.
