Austrian Cold Painted Bronze Cat Inkwell

An Austrian cold painted bronze inkwell in the form of a cat, probably by Franz Bergman, circa 1900. The cat with hinged head opening to reveal the inkwell (now lacking).
Stamped Geschutz to the underside in three places, twice on the stomach and once beside the tail.

Condition of the bronze is good with no damage, although only traces of original paintwork remaining.
