Pair of Gilt Toleware & Wrought Steel Porch Lanterns

A pair of Vintage gilt toleware & wrought metal porch or wall lanterns, with pressed glass shades.  I believe these very likely date from the 1950's or 1960's, the glass shades are moulded with the letter V within a clover leaf, one with the image of an elephant and the other titled 'British Made'. 

These can be hung either way up and would be suitable for use in a a porch but are not external lanterns.

Re-wired and PAT tested.

47cm long max including finials, the backplates being 31cm long. 22cm deep and the shades 11.5cm at the widest point.
